This is the introduction of AMMA directed by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Dear Divine souls,

I Have been commanded by Amma to address you wit a few words.  I therefore offer myself for the purpose ordained, to make you aware that this AMMA is none other than Devi, the Adishakthi, Parvathi the eternal mother.Amma’s avatharic introduction has been stated by Bhagwan baba himself as it is read now.“You all are seeing HER in this human form, but this is not her real form.  Her form is formless, form unperceivable, the source of all beings and to put it straight the resting place of all beings.  She is MAYA, the prakriti who emanated first in the gross form as a desire of the infinite, the immutable. When that immutable coupled with Maya, the action exploded. Reaction took place. Thus came all the universe, the whole creation. ‘Action, reaction is creation’so says Sri Sathya Sai Baba.  In simple words it is to say that immutable shiva did wed shakthi and brought forth all this phenomenal world the ever changing one.

The same shiva-shakthi avatar is before us now.  Shiva being Sri Sathya Sai Baba andshakthi being Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. Now this Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari, the Parvathi is granting you the audience today, which should be recorded in golden letters as a red letter day in you life time.  Devi Parvathi is leaving her footprints on the pages of time.

Now you are having that privilege of seeing Devi in the physical form for you are chosen by her as choicest person to have her choicest blessings.  You are seeing Devi in her charming smiles, that is her very nature i.e., SAT-CHIT-ANANDA, existing in conscious-bliss. She is BLISS. She makes your life charmful and smiling all the way through.  Trust her, she sympathizes with you and provides your safety.  Do not lode her sympathy and safety.  Have intense longing and full faith in her.  Pray to her with devotion, praise and purity of the heart.  Your prayer should contain all these elements.  To pray is to sit at her feet and aim you arrow of intense longing which has the sharp edge of full faith at her and make sure the arrow misses not the target. She is kind to the good as ‘Lalitha Tripura sundari’ and terrible to the bad as ‘Karali’. she is ‘Gowri’, she is ‘Kali’, she is ‘Hymavathi Girije’, she is ‘durge’ she is ONE and ALL
